The graduating class of Accounting and Finance: 1,116 students.

On September 6, over 1,116 students from the Faculty of Accounting and Finance graduated from the University of Professional Studies, Accra with their Business Administration degree.

Of the total number of students presented for graduation by the Faculty of Accounting and Finance, 938 were undergraduates and 178 were diploma students.

For the Undergraduate level, 17 students obtained First Class, 277 Second Class Upper, 325 Second Class Lower, 258 Third Class, and 61 passes. One of the diplomates attained distinction, while 98 obtained credit and 79 had passes.

The class was the largest graduating class in the faculty’s history, with more than three times as many students graduating this year than last year.

The majority of these students are expected to be employed by local companies in public practice or start their own businesses, but about thirty percent are heading abroad to pursue higher degrees at schools such as Wharton and Harvard.
