Afua Asantewaa Aduonum was born on 11 May 1990. She began her career as a journalist and worked for several Ghanaian media companies.

The only regular children’s pageant in West Africa, Miss Kidi Africa, and Miss KIDI Ghana are both the brainchild of this woman.

The creator of the reality shows Miss Teen Africa and Pose for Africa, Afua has altered the perception of modeling in Ghana.
