GES interdicts Fijai SHS headmaster over illegal fees.
Mr. Kenneth Agbomodze, the headmaster of Fijai Senior High School, has been immediately interdicted by the Ghana Education Service (GES) for allegedly collecting money in an unauthorized manner at the institution.
This was said in a statement released on Tuesday, April 18 by the GES.
The Western Regional Director of Education has been asked to take over the school’s management from him.
His interdiction is still under investigation, according to the GES, since the inquiry committee has two weeks to turn in its findings to management.
“Management of Ghana Education Service (GES) has with immediate effect placed Mr. Kenneth Agbomodze on administrative leave, pending further investigation into an alleged illicit fee collecting in the institution.
Mr. Agbornodze is to delegate the Western Regional Director of Education the responsibility for running the institution. “Management has been given two weeks to review the investigative committee’s report,” the GES stated in its statement.
