GES releases 2023 academic calendar for SHSs and basic schools.

The academic calendar for all government schools in Ghana for 2023 has been made public by the Ghana Education Service (GES).

The senior high, senior high technical schools, junior high schools, primary schools, and kindergarten calendars are intentionally made public.

The GES ordered all regional directors in the nation to see to it that the heads of schools for Basic and Second Cycle Schools in their respective regions comply as stated in a statement on February 8, 2023.

According to the statement from GES, “Regional Directors are hereby directed to ensure that Heads of Schools for Basic and Second Cycle Schools in their respective regions take note of the provisions in the attached calendar and comply accordingly to facilitate a smooth running of the academic year.”
