GES Encourages students writing the BECE in 2022.
The Ghana Education Service (GES) has sent a message of encouragement to students writing the BECE in 2022.
In its message, the GES said it was ready to support students from all schools that would write the examination.
It also wished them success in the exam and urged them to put their best into it. The message was contained in a letter signed by the Director General in the Ministry of Education, Prof. Kwasi Opoku-Amankwa and copied to all headmasters and heads of departments (HODs) across the country among others.
Why there’s nothing to worry about
There’s still a lot of time before the exams and we hope that this encouragement will show that GES is here to support you.

Preparing for Exam Day
Knowing what to expect will help you stay calm and focused on the day of your exam. Here are a few tips:
– Make sure to get a good night’s sleep;
– Eat breakfast before you leave for school so that you have time to digest it;
– Bring snacks like fruits or nuts with you, because there are no breaks between subjects during BECE exams;
– Pack an emergency kit with water, tissues and any other necessities that may be helpful during exam day.
Tips For Writing Exams

1.Start with the challenging material.
2. Write an answer to every question.
3. Do the ones you are most familiar with first.
4: Search for hints in other questions.
Don’t Feel Overwhelmed
We know that it can seem like a daunting prospect to spend all of your days studying for an exam that you will not take until 3 years from now. But, we want to encourage you to stay on this track and not let it discourage you!
It is never too early to start preparing for a test, even if it is not going to be until 3 years from now. The earlier you start preparing, the more prepared you will be come exam day.
