Inter-regional and intra-district re-posting – 2023

Ghana Education Service has just issued a letter ordering all Municipal, Metropolitan, Metro, and District Directorates to start issuing assurance letters to teachers who have already applied for assurance as well as those who have not yet submitted their application letters.

The letter was issued by the Human Resource and Management Division (HRMD) at the Head Quarters.

1. The commencement will be in force as of 17th May, 2023.

2. All completed inter regional posting applications must be submitted to GES HQ by 31st July, 2023.

3. Applicants must include the following information: a completed personal form, appointment letters, current payslips, last re-posting or transfer letters, and last promotion letters.

4. The letter states that any teacher who requests re-posting is only eligible for release when the Director-General has granted permission and sent the applicant a letter of re-posting.
