iPhone 16 Pro Max to Feature Bigger Enhanced Primary Camera Sensor, Tips Digital Chat Station
The next year’s iPhone 16 Pro Max will come with a bigger as well as an enhanced primary camera sensor, according to notable tipster Digital Chat Station.
The phone sensor is claimed to house a 48-megapixel Sony IMX903 sensor with a customized design. It also gets the 14-bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC) coupled with digital gain control (DGC) for better camera performance.
The new sensor size is reported to increase up to 1/1.14-inch in size, wider than the current 1/1.28-inch sensor size present in the iPhone 14 Pro and bigger in size compared to Samsung’s 1/1.3-inch sensor size in the Galaxy S24 Ultra. It certainly enhanced photography and videography with the improved and much larger camera sensor.
With higher megapixel count and an improved sensor, the iPhone 16 Pro Max will enhance image quality, low light performance, and definitely click more detailed shots.
