Isaac Dogboe is prepared for a world title bout.
Isaac Dogboe is a talented professional boxer from Ghana who previously held the WBO super bantamweight world title.
He lost his title in 2018 after a rematch with Mexican boxer Emanuel Navarrete, and subsequently suffered another loss in a rematch with Navarrete in 2019.
He will compete this coming Saturday at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa for the vacant WBO featherweight World title against two-time Olympic gold medalist Robeisy Ramirez.
Dogboe underlined his certainty and excitement for the next fight during the press conference on Thursday. I feel fantastic. The third attempt is supposed to be lucky.
First time was fantastic. The second attempt wasn’t that fantastic either. Nonetheless, I’m very excited about this trip,” he added.
However, Dogboe has since bounced back with three consecutive victories against lesser-known opponents. He is now set to challenge for the WBO featherweight world title against another Mexican boxer, Emanuel Navarrete, in a highly anticipated rematch.
While Dogboe has shown that he still has the skills and determination to compete at a high level, it remains to be seen whether he can overcome the formidable Navarrete, who has also continued to improve since their last two encounters.
Dogboe will certainly be motivated to prove himself and seek redemption by winning back a world title, but he will need to be at his absolute best and employ a smart game plan to overcome Navarrete’s relentless pressure and superior size and reach.
Overall, Dogboe has the potential to achieve redemption in this world title fight, but it will be a tough challenge that will require him to perform at his very best.
