It’s Official: Monday, July 11th, 2022 is a Public Holiday!
The general public is hereby informed that Saturday, 9th July, 2022 marks ‘Eid-ul-Adha which is a Statutory Public Holiday.
What will happen on this day?
The General Public is hereby informed that Saturday 9th of July 2022, marks ‘Eid-ul-Adha’ which is a Statutory Public Holiday.
However, 9th July, 2022 falls on Saturday and therefore, His Excellency The President of the Republic of Ghana has by an Executive Instrument in accordance with section 2 of the public holiday, Monday, July 11th, 2022 will officially be declared a public holiday.
This public holiday has been declared in order to give everyone a chance to enjoy the ‘Eid-ul-Adha and spend time with family and friends.
There will be plenty of events and activities taking place across the country to celebrate this special day. So mark your calendars and start planning your long weekend now!
What would be in it for employers?
Employers would be required to give their employees the day off on Monday, July 11th, 2022. This would be a great opportunity for employees to spend time with family and friends, or to take a much-needed break. Plus, it would give employers a chance to show their employees how much they appreciate them.
