Minister directs GES to vary Chiana SHS girls’ dismissal after President’s intervention.

The President was made aware of it at that point of the dismissal of the 8 students from Chiana SHS.

As a result, the GES has been instructed by the Minister of Education, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum, to explore an alternate disciplinary penalty instead of dismissal.

The most recent update was revealed in a news release from the Education Minister’s spokesman, Kwasi Kwarteng, dated Friday, January 13, 2023.
