Sarkodie’s ‘Try Me’ was removed from Spotify and Apple Music
Fans of Sarkodie discovered the music was gone from Apple Music and other streaming services on Monday afternoon. There were numerous rumors on social media that it was removed because of its offensive and sexual nature.
Due to the unofficial version being posted by MOG Beatz, Sarkodie’s song “Try Me” was taken down from Spotify and Apple Music.
The renowned producer of Sarkodie’s popular song “Try Me,” MOG Beatz, has explained why the song was taken down from numerous streaming services.
However, the Grammy-winning producer has set the record straight by admitting that a pirated version of the song was posted by an unknown user on several streaming services, including Apple Music and Spotify.
The Sarkcess team acted quickly to resolve the situation after learning about the unlawful release.
The crew started working to have the song taken down from popular streaming services like Apple Music after realizing the potential legal repercussions and the need to protect Sarkodie’s intellectual property.
In response to a subsequent tweet, he clarified the situation by writing, “This man uploaded the music straight after it was leaked.. the guy cash out saa Apple Music & Spotify figa declare e be the real owner.. The Sarkcess staff is attempting to remove it as soon as possible. Streaming should continue on all other platforms. MOG tweet below!
Remember how rapper Sarkodie responded to Yvonne Nelson’s autobiography, “I AM NOT YVONNE NELSON,” with the song “Try Me.”
Sarkodie provides his perspective on his former relationship with Yvonne Nelson in the song.
The song was published on June 28, 2023, around 1:4 am, after most Ghanaians had gone to bed. It features some pretty powerful content.
He addressed the controversy with Yvonne Nelson’s memoir, in which she listed him as the father of an unborn child but said he shied away from his obligations.
However, the music was leaked online, and the money from the streaming was taken by an unidentified person.
