Fans were excited to see the four-time African champions in action when the team arrived, led by new team manager Ammenu Shadow and coach Chris Hughton.

Later on in the day, the team will practice at the Baba Yara Stadium. Notable players on the squad include the captain Andre Ayew, Jordan Ayew, Thomas Partey, Mohamed Kudus, Inaki Williams, and Kamaldeen Sulemana.

This is the first of two games versus Angola; the second game is set for Luanda four days after this one.

Black Stars will likely put up a strong fight as they try to earn two victories in their quest to earn a spot in the African Cup of Nations competition.

The next Africa Cup of Nations will be played in Ivory Coast in 2024, and not 2023, Confederation of African Football (Caf) president Patrice Motsepe said on Sunday
