We’ve Done Nothing Criminal: National Cathedral Secretariat Responds to Allegations.

The National Cathedral Secretariat has recently been in the news due to allegations of criminal activity. The Secretariat has responded to these allegations, claiming they have done nothing wrong and all of their actions have been above board.

In this blog post, we will look at the response of the National Cathedral Secretariat to the allegations and discuss their claims of innocence.

The allegations against the National Cathedral

Recently, the Member of Parliament for North Tongu, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has been on a crusade to expose what he calls rot at the National Cathedral Secretariat in Ghana. The National Cathedra has come under fire due to accusations of financial misconduct and mismanagement.

The allegations stem from a series of documents that were released by a Member of Parliament for North Tongu, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa who had been terminated from the cathedral.

Mr. Ablakwa had claimed that some GH₵2.6 million was paid to a company owned by a board member of the cathedral, Rev. Victor Kusi Boateng.

But the Secretariat in a statement explained that the GH₵2.6 million was a refund to JNS talent and not an amount illegally paid to the company.

These documents alleged that the National Cathedral was not properly managing funds, was making questionable spending decisions, and was not transparent about its operations.

The Minister also made claims that the cathedral had been using its funds for activities such as paying GH₵2.6 million paid to a company owned by a board member of the cathedral, Rev. Victor Kusi Boateng, luxurious travel, and others. These allegations have caused an uproar in the local community and have put a strain on the reputation of the National Cathedral.

The public has questioned whether or not these accusations are true and if the National Cathedral is truly engaging in inappropriate behavior. In response to these allegations, the National Cathedral Secretariat has issued a statement saying that they have done nothing wrong and that all activities are being conducted by the laws and regulations of Ghana.

They have promised to take appropriate measures to ensure full transparency and accountability going forward.

The National Cathedral’s response

The National Cathedral Secretariat has released a statement in response to the allegations made against them. The statement reads, “We categorically deny any allegations that we have done anything criminal. We are proud of the work we are doing here at the National Cathedral Secretariat and we will continue to focus on preserving the beauty and integrity of this special place for future generations.”

The Secretariat also outlined its plans for responding to the allegations in the statement. They have retained the services of an independent investigator to look into the allegations, and they have opened their doors to local law enforcement so that they can conduct their investigation.

The Secretariat has also pledged to cooperate with any inquiry launched by authorities.
Finally, the Secretariat is adamant that they have done nothing wrong and they remain confident that they will be cleared of any wrongdoing.

They have committed themselves to transparency and accountability, and they are committed to making sure that the truth is revealed.

What the National Cathedral is doing to clear its name

The National Cathedral Secretariat has been working hard to prove their innocence in the face of recent allegations. They have sought to do this by actively engaging with the media, issuing statements and hosting press conferences to refute the claims.

The Secretariat is also engaging with members of the public and responding to individual queries promptly. Additionally, they are actively encouraging dialogue between individuals to come to a consensus about what happened.
